Hazards Edition
Ok, so this update definitely took longer than I expected, but sometimes that happens when you tear everything apart in order to build it back up again. The big theme of this update is "hazards". Not only are there more levels to race through, they've got different kinds of hazards that you might encounter, including new dynamic ones to keep you on your toes. There are now a total of 18 different levels, broken down into 6 chunks, and 16 different hazards you can encounter, like doors that slide open and closed, and even a lock and key combo! Each level has it's own set of hazards and generates them in different patterns, each designed around to build on the last.
The speed and difficulty was also adjusted, so that now you move faster, and every minute things ramp up just a bit and you speed up even more. Boosting and slowing down was adjusted too, making it more effective for either blowing past a section of track (if you dare) or to safely navigate through a tight spot. Also, boosting give you some bonus points, just cause that's great!
The last big thing is that the appearance of the levels changes as you reach them! This used to be in the game but was part of some disassembly, so I'm really glad that it's back. As mentioned earlier the levels are divided into 6 main sections, and each one has it's own look and feel.
